When Core Fabrics asked if I’d like to create a collection of custom garment labels, I jumped at the chance to combine typography with my favourite pastime, sewing. Garment labels are used by home sewists to give projects a higher degree of finish and infuse personality.

As they are based in Montreal, they were interested in an option that would appeal to their French-speaking clientele. This request became a guiding direction for a francophile collection.
