Closet Core Instructions

I’m a home sewist. My favourite pastime is to sew garments for myself, and I’m deeply familiar with the world of indie pattern designers. Closet Core Patterns is a leader in the industry and one of my personal faves. They requested a new design template for their detailed PDF instructions that accompany a pattern download.

A lot had to be considered. Sewing is hard! Instructions can be confusing! There’s a huge variety of information, and each pattern release has unique aspects. I delivered a flexible template that offered variety of options at every stage that they can cherry pick from to assemble clear, beautiful, branded communication.

In addition to the PDF instructions, I delivered a booklet template to accompany the printed versions of their patterns.
