Chronicle Books Fellowship Poster

An early and beloved experience was my Fellowship at Chronicle Books. The design opportunity was a six-month internship in San Francisco where as a fresh designer I was fully immersed into the fun and fascinating inner workings of a delightful publisher, amongst colleagues who were at the top of their game.

A favourite task was to design the poster advertising the next term’s fellowship. My co-fellow Allison and I collaborated to illustrate Chronicle Books as a factory, and embedded inside jokes about HQ life throughout.

The poster was screen printed at Bloom Press in Oakland, and sent to Design Schools across North America, encouraging future fellows to apply.
